Lung growth is the product of poor training of the cells in the lung tissue, usually in the cells lining the airways. The cells of our body are constantly dividing and reproducing. Usually, there is an ordered pattern of reproduction as cells upgrade and specialize to satisfy the particular desires. Occasionally, however, a unit becomes dented. There is a mutation in their DNA, and very final assembly and as usual, continues to replicate unimpeded. In essence, this is melanoma – reproduction and the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the body.
Most lung cancers are made to tremble in the lining of the lungs – the linings of the airways, large and small that the work of the task of extracting oxygen from the air. Finally, some cancers discovered in the lungs are not all lung cancers.
