Is it possible to experience a trauma of seeing his father die from asphyxiation due to lung cancer?
Recently my father died after struggle with lung cancer for six months. When I sat down beside her bed for three hours, I saw him suffer shortness of breath with each short breath. His eyes glassy looking back on his head, grabbed his bald head with his hand while working to breathe, and finally starring my mother that he gave his spirit and his heart finally stopped. It was a horrible experience to see, seeing literally suffocate to death.
wow. I really am. that is something really difficult to have to deal with. not only possible but likely. there is no way that can not be traumatized by watching someone you love in some great pain and die. I suggest you speak to someone about this. a counselor or something. Do not hold it all! as I said, I'm sorry for your loss and sorry you had to experience that. God bless!
