He had done a CT scan of the chest and showed 4 small nodules, and now I have pain in the ribs. Lung cancer?
The last 2 months have been a pain in the butt, I had numerous tests done to see what this chronic inflammation in the face and neck and the doc that my lymphoma could be back-it was not. Swelling does not go though. Therefore, it was decided to check the chest, lungs, stomach, kidneys, gallbladder, liver and pancreas. Everything was fine except the lungs. The lungs showed 4 small nodules, but the oncologist was not too worried. Now I have a sharp pain in my right rib cage and it feels like I'm looking forward from the inside out. Could be more serious. Does this sound like cancer lung? I quit smoking 3 years ago and I did not smoke often real to begin with. I do not live with a smoker and I am in close contact with anyone. I've never been exposed to asbestos. I just do not understand!
I am sorry you are going through this. I know what fear lung cancer myself. Its really difficult to know what are the causes of nodules are to get a biopsy. It may be scar tissue from a past infection. I never had pain in the ribs as described, and I have stage IV. It could be some swelling that is causing your pain. I have pain now, but the deterioration of their bone mass chemotherapy, not cancer.
